I was pretty bored the last few days at home so I've been keeping tabs with newly released animes. And I must say, there have been a couple of really good ones out.

The ones to look for for in my opinion is Basquash!
I'm sure most of you liked Airgear. Well it's similar to that I suppose.
Except this is basketball!! With mechas as too!!

Now then, on to the story, Basquash! is a sports and sci-fi anime production scheduled to air on Mainichi Broadcasting System in 2009 that involves characters playing basketball while riding mecha. It revolves around a boy named Dan JD and his obsession to get to the moon so that his sister's leg could be cured. Apparently he blames these mechas ( they are called Bigfoot in the story) for destroying her legs. Yeah.

So far the pace of the anime has been relentless and it keeps you wanting to know more. Animation is good and I love the drawing. There's a feel of urbanism and ruggedness to it.
Everything seems to compliment each other quite well. I just hope that it dosen't fade off as it progresses.
