Reading about what Coral Sec did to their students actually left me bemused.
Firstly, school is school and the after hours, are complete freedom. That's what I firmly believe. And I bet a whole lot of others does too.

Parents! You guys are just plain dumb. While it may seem that going home straight is the most sensible things to do here, it's not exactly the best. Kids just wanna have fun.
They need relaxation!! Give them a breathing space for goodness sake!!
I bet that PARENTS ARE THE REASON why kids aren't going home straight!
They just can't deal with constant nagging and being told what to do. Especially after a tiring day in school!!
Why can't they?
They've already got a stressful education to deal with, and now comes the previous generations of I-know-what's-best-for-yous.

Saving face? A reputation of the school?
What's most important is the education these kids receives.
Oh, by the way, your reputation isn't really that high considering it's only recently the school sprouted.
I don't see any of the so called reputational schools doing it.

I bet pretty soon they gonna have spot checks on students bringing their home shirt to school!!
